The journey through the London Royal Parks had a very pleasant contribution with the Picnic at the wonderful “Terrace Gardens and Buccleuch Gardens” in the majestic Richmond Park.
A section of the Park known only to locals, the Bucckeuch Gardens lie in a terraced area overlooking the river, in one of the most beautiful spots in London (not surprisingly, Richmond is where many international stars have houses including the famous Mick Jagger one).
Weather conditions were excellent (finally!) and this also allowed us to have a brief walk along the river, admiring a very beautiful landscape.
As always at our events, we had a few foreign friends joining us, including people from South Africa, France, Scotland, Russia and – of course! - a few Brits.
A huge thank you to our Barbara, a local resident of Richmond, for organising this event and for the choice of the venue. Also thank you to our Roberto for welcoming the first guests and in assisting with the logistics of the picnic. And a very warm “grazie!” to all the people who joined us – we are aware that reaching Richmond may have not be easy for people not living in the proximity but you will surely agree it was very much worth the effort!
Finally, a special thank you to Rita, Ashwin and Fabio who stayed well past 10pm for a very pleasant ending (and beer!) at the brilliant “The White Swan” pub, just next to Richmond Bridge.

And remember : if you wish to receive (free - of course!) the original photos in High Resolution (over 4MP) to share them with your friends, fiancee, mums or even with your...dog, send us an email to THIS ADDRESS and we will be more than happy to assist you.
