Excellent night at the Aperitif Spritz and BBQ at the ever so beautiful Melia White House, in Marylebone
Over 200 people joined us for a very relaxed (and slightly less crowded) Aperitif where Italians and Spanish food were the stars of the night – many feasted on very generous stuzzichini of lomo iberico, empanada gallega, Jamon and fried squid (absolutely delicious!) not to mention the BBQ which helped to fuel chit-chat well past midnight!
As always at our events, we had very welcome guests from many different countries, including France, Argentina, Chile, Japan, Canada (yesterday it was Canada Day!), Germany, Ukraine, Iran, Brasil, Portugal, Greece, Morocco and of course, our very loyal and exquisite Spanish delegation! (hola friends!) ;-)
We also had the very welcome visit of Oliver, a supposedly very dangerous Florida alligator which, however, immediately befriended our guests and agreed to pose for a snap or two ;-)
A huge thank you to all the people who attended and a special thank you to Michele and Nick and all the staff of Melia which were just perfect in any aspect of the organisation!
