|The first Aperitif of the Big Fourwas held in a delicious venue near Sloane Square and was a resounding success!
Tucked away in gorgeous Duke of York Square, just off posh Kings Road, the Aperitif was organised in the marvelous Partridges, certainly one of the most famous Delicatessen in London. Over 160 people joined us for a truly memorable night with sumptuous stuzzichini which included Oysters, an entire San Daniele Ham, super Ricotta and Sardinia Cheeses and many more delicatessens from Italy.
As always at our Aperitifs, many foreign friends attended : we had friends from the US (Indiana!), New Zealand, France, Turkey, Spain, Germany, Bulgaria, Latvia, Ukraine, India and a few British too!
A big thank you to Aurora, manager of Partridges, who helped us in the organisation and who instilled passion and enthusiasm to the night - it's thanks to her the Aperitif was a fantastic success! Also, thank you to all Aurora's Staff and in particular to Ciro, Mr Oyster Man, who was in charge of preparing and offering the very fresh oysters from the night.
